The Master Gardener Association of Rogers County (MGARC) is a nonprofit, community-based volunteer organization working with Oklahoma State University to support the Rogers County Extension Office located in Claremore, Oklahoma.  Under the direction of John Haase, Extension Educator, MGARC provides education and hands-on training in and around Rogers County.  Examples of outreach have included programs in Claremore, Oologah, Justus-Tiawah and Foyil school systems; ground beautification at the Veterans Administration, J.M. Davis Historical Museum and Rogers County Courthouse, as well as educational programs at garden shows, garden tours and the Rogers County Fair.

MGARC proudly hosted the Statewide Master Gardener Conference in 2007, with the largest attendance in state conference history.  Continuing education for its membership and the public are offered throughout the year.  New classes are recruited and training held on a periodic basis.  For additional information on becoming a Rogers County Master Gardener, contact John Haase at 918-341-2736.
